Our Story
Established in 2025, Alpine Paws was born from years of hands-on experience with dogs. From working in rescue centres and running my own dog walking business, to studying dog behaviour and earning qualifications in dog training and behaviour, at the heart of it all is a deep love and respect for dogs and the lives we share with them.
Inspired by our Bernese Mountain Dog, Sansa, and the time we spend together exploring as much of the world as we can, Alpine Paws was created to offer practical, well-designed products that support calm, confident dogs in real-world environments.
At Alpine Paws, our designs are simple and timeless. We take our cues from nature and choose soft, earthy colours that work just as well on a walk as they do at home. Our products are made to fit seamlessly into your life and adventures. We’re just getting started and excited to be expanding our product range throughout 2025. There’s plenty more to come, and we can’t wait to share it with you and your dog.
Why the name "Alpine Paws"?
The name Alpine Paws is a tribute to the inspiration behind our brand—Sansa, our Bernese Mountain Dog. Originally bred in the Swiss Alps to work alongside farmers, Bernese are known for their strength, calm nature, and love of the outdoors.
At home, like many Bernese owners, we often refer to Sansa our “little bear”. While our brand leans into neutral tones and practical, everyday design, you may spot subtle nods to this bear-like charm throughout the brand.
“Alpine” reflects not only her heritage but also our shared love of nature and the outdoors. “Paws” brings it back to what truly matters, our dogs, their comfort, and their wellbeing.
