Iron-on application in minutes. No crafty skills required - just an iron, a thin cloth, and something worth personalising

Step 1 - choose your base

Our patches work best on cotton and denim. Think harnesses, backpacks, jackets, hats, canvas leads, and blankets. Got a synthetic fabric? We'd recommend sewing it on instead for extra hold - more on that in Step 4.

Step 2 - Position your patch

Place your patch exactly where you want it - design facing up. Take a moment to get the position right before reaching for the iron.

Step 3 - Cover & press

Set your iron to medium heat - around 150°C. No steam. Cover the patch with a thin cloth - a tea towel or pillowcase works perfectly. Press firmly for 15-20 seconds. Lift the cloth and check that every edge and corner is fully fixed down. Press again on any areas that need a bit extra. Leave to cool for 24 hours before wearing or washing.

Step 4 - Optional: sew it down

For extra durability - especially on gear that takes a beating outdoors - stitch around the edges of your patch. This is particularly recommended for harnesses and leads that see heavy use. Cotton and denim hold iron-on well, but a few stitches add peace of mind on high-wear items

Patch care

Once applied, wash your garment inside out on a gentle cycle in cold water. Do not tumble dry. With proper care, your patch will stay put, adventure after adventure
